  1. There is a village not far from this school called Ballinaster. One night a man was feeding cattle when he went into the stable there was a big fire lighting. He fed all the cattle when he noticed a small calf lying down he thought the calf was not tied and he stooped down and he could not feel anything in it. But the calf was there and he closed the door of the stable and ran as fast as he could the calf was never seen in it since.
