    Many people never throw out water on New-Year's day because they would throw away the luck they had in the old year.

    If a man came to a house on unexpectely (unexpectedly) with a black cat the people would have luck for ever.
    If a child had the woophing cough and took milk that a ferret would leave after him the child would get better, it would also get better with a cure which a man with a white horse would give.
    When people used to be churning they used to put a grain of salt into the churn and a coal of fire under it to preserve the luck, if anybody
