    as they get bigger. The other way is to drill the potatoes directly. No chemicals are mixed with the manure for the potatoe. Many farmers in this district sow "Kerr's pink" as they distribute more potatoes than other seed.
    The potatoes grown in this area a good, big, eating potatoe; as the soil is good. The big potatoe, if planted a week before a small one will not appear over the ground for a week after the small one is up. When the potatoes are too large they are cut into halves taking good care there are "eyes" on each half.
