Long ago there was a monastery in Newabbey. There was a big orchard in front of the monastery. The Fitzeustaces built Newabbey. Monks used to live there. It was a big place long ago. There is an old house in Newabbey down near where the monks used to be. My mother told me all about Newabbey.
