    Potatoes 4-3 '38
    Long ago before ploughs came into use for ploughing the land the people used dig the land with spades and open the drills for the potatoes with shovels.the used be all the winter preparing the land.
    The women used cut the sgilláns and also spread them .When they used be spread they used split the drills and put half of it at each side.A small start after they being sowed they would split the drill again with their spades and also dig the furrows and put new clay up to the stalks.The potatoes used be good although they used have no spray.When they used be ripe and before it was time to dig them all they used dig a couple of bags
