    The food they used to eat long ago.
    Long ago to eat stirabout and it used to be black as soot and they used to have potatoes and salt and egg for there breakfast.For the dinner they used to have stirabout and milk and sometimes water.
    Then for the supper they used to have bock bread and milk.They used to bake the brad on sods of of turf and on four stones.They used to make cakes of oten -meal and bake them standing up by the fire .Then when they would be eating the supper they would dip rushes in tallow to show them light.
