    Remains of old houses.
    Ther is an old house situated near Lough Leacain in Slieveanore .In former days it belonged to a man named Denis Dwyer ,but his wife died and as himself was getting old he came down from Con Tully and remained with him until the end of his days.Then he left all his possessions to Con.
    2)There is another ancient old- fashioned Currascoil. Long ago Seamus Mack Namara lived in it .When he was dying he left it to his son Martin. When he died his son paddy took it .After a while he left it and went to live in another house and farm in Gurtavulla. Nowadays noone is living in the house and none of it remains only the bare walls
