    Old smiths and carpenters.
    1) There was an old blacksmith living in Scariff, and he used shoe for 2/6.
    2) Larry Kelly in Caher.
    3) Tom Lative in Scariff, he was living between Scariff and Tuamgraney ,his son is in it now.
    4)Pat Minogue of Gurtavulla was a good blacksmith ,the people used come from far and near to him.
    Carpenters.
    1)John Brody was a fair carpenter he used make cupboards and tables .
    2)Giry Fahy in Gortaveha ,used make cupboards and "lossods"which are not used in any house except an odd one.
