    is a holy well which is said to cure
    all kinds of diseases but now it is
    never used for anything. An iron
    cross was fixed on top of the stone
    in June 1917 and a wall built round it with four palm trees planted within by Rev. Canon Halpin with the help of the people of Loughane. All around the
    rock there are big stones and holes
    between them. Beyond this on one
    side is a marsh and a bleak mountain
    on the other side. From the top of
    the rock you can see the mountains
