    25th April, 1938.
    Long ago the people used to have only two meals in the day. For their breakfast they would have potatoes. At Christmas time they would have a cake called a stampy cake made from raw potatoes grated up. On Easter Sunday all the people would eat a great deal of eggs after mass. The table would be always left in by the wall. When the people would be out in the garden working the people would carry out
