    The old shop long ago was known as Mrs Cannys,The people used to bring an egg to her,and in return she would give them six sweets as a half penny worth.Sometimes they would bring a dozen of eggs and get whatever they wanted.Mrs Shoughnessy who used to be called Eily who lived near Hogans at the time had a shop in which she used to sell tea, and bread, and fish,and in the end she got burned to death.Sometimes there would peddlars come
