- A great many years ago there lived a man in Killarney.
He had three sons and their mother died when the eldest was about twenty years. He used to be out very late at night. His father used to lock the door and he used to sleep in the hay shed.
One night he thought of a great plan. His father used to keep a great many horses and he carried out one of them and went away.
