  1. A man was living in Kenmare several years ago. He had a daughter and she was going to get married but he did not want her to get married.
    A blacksmith was living near them and he thought of a plan. He told her to buy a very rich cake and give it to him to eat and as soon as he would eat it he would get a toothache. As soon as he ate it he got the pain.
    The blacksmith came to his house and told him he would work a charm.
