  1. Long ago there lived a girl who was going to be married. Her father and mother went making the match and there was nobody in the house with the girl only a servant boy. The servant boy used to go home every night. This happened three or four miles outside Killarney and it was to Killarney the people went making the match.
    The people were not to be home until after nightfall. The servant boy went home after eating the supper, and a while after he had gone the girl heard music ar the far away end of the house. She did not get
