  1. Once upon a time there lived a man in Ballyvourney who used to be making ciseáns. It was late when he started to build one day and the night came on him before he had finished.
    He started to put the bottom on the ciseán after nightfall. After a couple of hours he heard a noise like the blowing of wind, outside him on the road. The next thing he heard was like the "clitter" of horse' hooves and then he saw a funeral.
