  1. About sixty years ago there lived a man in the parish of Kilgarvan. He was an extensive farmer and cattle-breeder and kept a great many milch-cows.
    It was in the Summer-time and he had his cows out every night. Among them was a white and black cow. She was well fed and had a big bucket of milk morning and evening.
