  1. There was a lios in a farm in Mangerton and the owner of the farm was a man who was very fond of reading and he had a great desire to tear up the lios.
    One day he carried a book with him to be reading while he was minding his cows. He sat up on the lios and in a short time a drop of blood fell on the book, but he did not take any notice of it. He only washed it off with his tongue.
