  1. All people wear shamrocks. Little boys & girls ribbons & harps. Some wear St. Patrick's crosses, bought, made of green ribbons.
    Drowning the shamrock - taking intoxicating liquor.
    Four-leafed shamrock, much sought after, suppsoed to bring luck. Saw my mother & she had only to walk out & she could pick them up. Did it on one occasion for a Limerick visitor to his very great joy.
