  1. One evening Jack O'Brien was working at the sawmill till it was dark. The other workmen put out the light so that it was completely dark. Jack Shiels got a wet sack and put it over Jack O'Brien's head. Jack O'Brien had an iron in his hand at the time and he went shouting round the mill looking for the man who threw the bag. The men then had to clear out of Tom Sheriffs sawmill behind the station, Cootehill
