  1. One night about nine o'clock a man was going into a forge with his horse. When he was going along the road he saw a ghost standing in the middle of the road. He stopped and looked at it but it came near to him. Then he went on his way and came to a house. He was frightened, so he went into the house to rest. When he came out he was all right, so he went on to the forge and when he was going into his own house after coming from the forge a ghost opened the door and dropped chains at the man's feet and then disappeared.
