- There was once a man who went out fishing to on the the Coum Loughs. He was fishing away till the middle of the night and was catching nothing. A little man came from the other side of the lake and asked him was he catching anything. He said he was not. The little man asked him for a turn at the rod, and at every cast he brought in a fish. He then gave the rod to the other man and he caught a lot, but the little man disappeared.
