    Got this from Dannie McInerney (Smith) of Kilkee
    who had it from the old people
    He maintains its the proper origin of the name "Loop Head"

    Brian O'Looney of London contributed a version of this story to "Clare Champion in 1937. He has the characters reversed. He says that an tAon Bhean was sister of the Northern Giants - that these were attacked by the "robbers" Cruacan Sail and Dail.
