Come home Paddy Reilly to me. - There is a well outside Ballyjamesduff named St. Kieran's Well. If a person with any disease visits this well. There is a fish which appears in the well at 12 o'clock on the 1st August, if they rub the water to the sore it will be cured. The fish appears at 12 oclock make the sign of the cross and disappears again. The fish was once caught tried to be boiled but it could not be killed. There is a procession to St Dymphna's Well in Lavey each year.
