  2. Once upon a time there was an old cobbler living in a small hut on top of a hill. Sometimes when the sun was shining he would mend the boots outside the door. One day when he was working hard outside the door a hare ran round by his feet. The old cobbler trying to kill the hare threw the ball of wax after her and hit her with it on the hip and she carried it off.
