    It was beleived that it was put there by the old people for fear of the Danes and of robbers.
    One night as Red Paddy was on his bed sleeping he drempt that he saw a crock of gold under the wall of the house and he thought he heard the fairy say to him not to tell anybody and he could have it for himself.
