On Good Friday the Rosary is recited at noon in almost every home. Visits are made to the chapel where the people make stations etc. "Good Friday Eggs" i.e. eggs laid on that day, were kept and given to any sick person as a tonic. The clock was put twenty minutes also.

At Hallow'een the children have a royal time eating roasted nuts and apples. The most familiar feature of the feast is a large crock-ful of water.
