    A long time ago when a fight was going on in Glenmalure. A man by the name of Michael Dwyer hid in a cave up in Glenmalure while the fight was going on.
    He hid there for a couple of weeks and at night time he would come out when everybody was quiet to get something to eat and then he would go back to his cave again.

    Buck Whaley is a famous man in this district. People say that he once leaped through a window not quite as big as four feet long and three feet broad on a horse. The window is about six feet from the ground.
