   The only local song I know was composed by Pat Maher. The words are as follows:- "Larry dear did you hear the news thats going round Bill Fisher has a bike for sale, no buyers can be found, and every time he sets it up he sells it for a crown, if Larry Ownes had on two brakes he would ride it through the town.
