  1. Years ago there were no such people as doctors especially among country people because they had cures of their own for all diseases both for man and beast.
    Some of those diseases and cures were the, "Whooping Cough "Cancer "Measles, Shingles, "and Stys"
    The cure for the measles was. The person who was affected with that disease was obliged to creep under the body of an ass nine different times and it was supposed to cure,? Anthonys Fire was a very dangerous disease It generally affected a persons back, first of all a great deal of boils or sores covers the back and if those met around the body they would be libel to kill you. No doctors could cure it.
    The only cure for it is Kehoe's blood and person by the name of Kehoe I know a few men who this disease
