- (continued from previous page)a wood in the end of the field which is called the "Burned wood" there is a rath. It is a boggy ring with furze bushes growing in it.

- The slang is situated in Drumderry. It is a long narrow browy field. It is near the main road and is very lonely because there is a knock of bushes surrounding it. About 60 years ago the owner of this field put this name on it because of the way it is situated, that is the tail - end of another field.
