    fast, so he started for the hills the way he went the morning before and the fog fell down again. He travelled until he came to the place he saw the morning before and there was the girl waiting for him and as nice and lovely as she was the morning before she was all as ugly now. She flew at him and said he broke his word to her by breaking his fast, that she was enchanted in this rath those thousands and thousands of years, that he was the first ever spoke to her and that gave her a chance of freedom, and she then disappeared. The fog lifted and here he found himself standing outside of this big rath."
    7). "Old Dick Kenny who lived in this house was always tinkering about this rath - about a hundred & fifty years ago. He removed two large stones that was at the entrance going into the rath. I do not know for what purpose but at last he cut down all the white thorns and the black thorns that was in the rath and left it real bare and wasn't he got dead the next morning. The people said he was surrounded by little men and they accusing him of cutting their shelter. At all events the old people that had raths on their land would not touch a bush inside of them
