  1. Burns + Scalds.
    1). "If a person were burnt the cure is to get someone who has licked on asker to lick the burn + that will cure it. One licking of the asker gives the cure for life to the person. (Mrs. McCall,Killalongford)
    2). "A blessed candle + sweet oil blended up together is the cure for a burn" (General).
    3). "Hold the burn close up to the fire + keep it there although it is very painful. It will suck out the pain" (General).
    4). "Bread soda or buttermilk mixed are good for a burn" (General).
    5). "Stick the burnt part into a can of buttermilk (Mr. Lonne Killalongford)
    6). Sweet oil for scalds (general) or breadsoda
    7). Parrafin oil for a burn (general)
    8). "Bees wax is a good thing for a burn. Get linen + fry it in the bees wax + put it to the burn (Mrs. Strahan).
