  1. You all know several places where there are lone bushes standing up in the middle of fields and they make ploughing and everything very "contrairy" and still they won't cut them down. Nobody will meddle with them.
    There is one in the middle of Din Doyle's field in Knockatomcoyle.
    There's a lone sgeach in Franey's of Mullins.
    There is an ash tree and a sgeach grown side by side in one of Mrs Carthy's fields in Menvarid.
    There is one in Blakes of the Parish and one in the field under it.
    There are hundreds of others as well. 'Tis mostly a sgeac is there but I have seen lone ash too that wouldn't be meddled.
