Ar an leathanach seo

  1. The Bird field - by the side of the road and opposite the entrance to the Leap Castle. This field was so called because a keeper of the Leap demesne used rear pheasants in that field which he guarded night and day and slept in a tree in the field.

  2. The Murdering Hole in Leap Castle
    This is a round stone structure rising over the Castle and also sunk into the ground. From its walls inside protrude iron spikes the object of which was to mutilate the body of the victim before it reached the bottom.
    One of the best known legends which refers to this hole is that
