  1. There are a great deal of stories told about the borrowed days. There is one of them.
    The borrowed days occur on the first, second and third of April. It is said that there was an old cow and March was so hard that she thought she would not escape death. But she did and March had to borrow three days from April to kill her. On the first day she died and on the second day she was skinned and on the third day she was buried.
