  1. A Funny Story
Once upon a time there was a man travelling round the country selling night caps. One day tired out after a long journey he sat down under a tree and fell asleep. He put on one of the night caps. There were a lot of monkeys up in the tree, while the man was asleep. They came down and each of the monkeys put on a night cap. When the man awoke he looked about and found all his night caps were gone. He was so vexed he took off the cap and flung it against the ground. The monkeys were looking down at him and each one of them took of the cap and flung them down. So the man picked up his caps and went on his journey.
