- Long ago the people got four or five meals each day. It is very nourishingAt night going to bed they used milk and oaten bread.The bread was made either of barley or oats.When they are going to eat a meal like potatoes they move the table to the middle of the floor.They did not eat much meat long ago
They used a lot of fowl, fish, and pork, and some of them had their own bacon.
