Ar an leathanach seo

  1. In a place called Borodale about three miles from the market town of Enniscorthy there is treasure supposed to be hidden in a lake. People cannot descend to the bottom of the lake to get the gold because an eel is supposed to be guarding it. At certain intervals during each century this treasure is revealed underground.
    Once during the present generation this treasure was made known in the form of a house, which was seen on the edge of the lake.
    This house consisted of three room's each full of different kinds of money, one of silver, one of gold, and one of copper. When this house was seen it is told that a man was going to the fair of Enniscorthy and he saw the house and he thought it strange to see it there because he never remember seeing it there before.
    He went in he saw a rusty sword hanging upon the wall. He took it down to look at it and at that minute a man with no head stood in the door.
    When saw the man he put it up in its place again, and the man said, "Woe be to the man that lifted that sword and"
