  1. Local Hat Making
    Mrs. Howlin of Courtnacuddy, Enniscorthy, R.I.P was known to be the best hat maker throughout the district. She us to plat rye and make the rye into hats of all varieties. She used to dye the hats to every colour.
    She used to sell the hats to the people around and made her living out of her industry.
