- There is an Old Grave Yard in Killeen not far from my house in Ballyhyland. There was an Old church in it as well. The ruins of the Old church may be seen still. There are four fields around it that are never tilled. Because it is said that a crop would never grow in it. There is a road coming from Caim to it and from that to Rathnure. Nearly all the old lane is knocked down. The lane is covered with bramble and bushes. This Grave yard was in use in the time of the rebellion 1798Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
