    There was a man living in a little house in Ballyshannon and he was very fond of drink and his name was Maurice Kehoe.

    fell dead and the man was greatly frightened because it was the last horse he had and he said to himself that he would drink no more so he took a pledge against drink. From that time on he never tasted drink, and he lived happy ever after.
