  1. About seven miles from Wexford there is a place known as Barry's Cross. There is a road leading to Stable's house.
    About two miles over that road there are the ruins of an old forge. It was owned by James Murphy.

    About three miles from Barry's Cross there is a place known as Ballyshannon. There is a wood on the left side of the road.
    In the wood there is a little house built. It is built where there was a forge. It was owned by Edward Roche. The Roches are still there.
