  1. When old Mr. Carthy from Paradise Row died the "Bow" was seen on his window combing her hair with a comb that glittered in the rays of the moon. She was a little woman with long hair tipping the ground. She was very sad-looking because a person was dead. She was moaning and rubbing her hair.
Every night at twelve o'clock she was seen on the iwndow-sill for the whole "nine days" sobbing and crying.
Her hair was not plaited together but all bushy.
She was never seen any more in Paradise Row but was seen in Waterloo Rd.
