  1. Earache Cure: Roast a small onion before the fire. Then put it on a piece of cloth and place it to the ear. The heat will relieve the pain.
    Cuts: Place a cobweb on the cut.

  2. Toothache: Place a frog in your mouth and let it breathe three times on the tooth and the pain will go.
    Wasp Sting: If a wasp stings you kill it and the sting will go away.
    Wart Cure: Steal a bit of steak and bury it. As the steak decays the warts will fall off.

  3. Farcy: A cure for farcy was to take the sick horse out to a field and to place nine stones in a circle about 14ft around and then to lead the horse from stone to stone and say the "Our Father"and "Hail Mary" as you move around. You do this for nine mornings and on the ninth day at 10.00 AM the horse will be well.
