- There are ten crocks of gold hidden in a field on the left side of the road which leads from Trinity to Taghmon. The treasure is guarded by a bull and thread dipped in Holy Water has to be placed in a ring around the place where the treasure is hidden to keep the bull away. One night Mr Ben Gaynor of Trinity went out to dig for the gold but when he got on the road he heard a voice saying, "If you try to find the gold you will not get home alive", so he went home and never looked for the gold again.
