- A short distance from the village of Taghmon is situated a Holy Well, called St Munn's well. It is up on a hill off the road opposite Brown's Castle. There is a very rough path-way leading up to it. There have been several cures of different kinds of illnesses effected there. There are crutches and sticks left there to show that people have been cured by drinking some of the water. There are lots of rosary beads and different religious tokens left there too.
