Jack Masterson, Rathowen, told me that there once lived a man named Mat Cormack, and one day he was going down the road from Rathowen and all of a sudden a lot of cats came from behind the hedge and said to him, "Manro tell bathro that Manhazer is dead.
The man went home and he told his cat that Manhazer was dead and then the cat got up and walked out and the man never saw her again.
