  1. Long ago people named Mc Loughlins lived where John Reddy lives now.
    McLoughlin had two daughters. This day they wanted to go to the races in Mullingar and the father would not let them go because the turf had to be "footed."
    So the two daughters had to go to the bog and when they had gone about half an hour this little leipreachan appeared to them and asked them why were they crying and they told him that they would not be let go to the races.
