  1. The month May has them perhaps more than any other month of the year.
    For instance on its eve in old farm steads you would see a person of the family looking for a May bush this person would break off the branches and would place one over each stable door and placing the largest in front of the kitchen.
    On May day we find more piseogs. For instance the giving away of anything on this day is said to be unlucky.
