    In olden times there was almost one landlord in every parish and as a general they were very much disliked by their tenants, because they were cruel and had very cruel methods of dealing with those in their power.
    When the rent was due the landlord would send an agent to collect the rents. The people of the district would assemble in a certain house and meet the agent
